I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.(Ephesians 4:1-7)
Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called (v1)
“And God BLESSED THEM” You were born with a blessing on you. He created you blessed. He created you complete. he recreated you worthy fr the task and assignment at hand, now we have to simply walk as if we are worthy of our calling (col 1;9) Don’t walk like you are unworthy, You can’t reach the highest in ministry if you’re always feeling you don’t deserve the best of everything God has to offer. When you walk worthy you can pursue the goal of pleasing him in all you do and you will be pleased to do it too.
When you walk worthy of your calling you will be fruitful in the very good work When you walk worthy of your calling you will increase in the knowledge of God. you cant walk worthy of God if yo dont knw your bible.
When you walk worthy of your calling you will BE strengthened in all might (v11) according to his glorious power.
STOP AUDITING YOUR LIFE Walk worthy indoor calling,
2. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (v2-3).
The characteristics that give us “credibility.” defined as “the quality or power of inspiring belief” and 2. “capacity for belief” (Mirriam Webster). People who themselves are an inspiration and inspire belief, demonstrate these characteristics of lowliness, meekness, suffering and forbearance.
3.There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism
ONE BAPTISM FOR ONE BODY in Jesus name (Acts 2:38) ONE LORD. Jesus who is the Lord God (Deus 7;9) “”Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant ..” ONE FAITH not multi-faith, any faith or all faiths. of the faith once delivered (Jude1;3). CREDIBILITY: WilL you contend for the faith once delivered. Many build their won ministry without any regard for “sound doctrine” and little regard for adherence to Gods requirements. Many build a ministry and preach against the oneness of God, they deny that baptism ingests name and the oneness of God rather they accept a trinitarian concept of God this again destroys ones integrity and credibility with God and man. Some will build a ministry because they love the thought of being the centre of attention and having an audience. Others build because they see the ministry as a way to prominence and public status. All these affect one’s credibility.
CREDIBILITY with God, God am I rolling your pattern and doing things your way. Am I carrying out your mandate, Am I building your church with your doctrine. Lord am I walking I’m walking I’m lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearance with you? Build credibility, it will keep you in the forefront of ministry
